Lisa Deen has spent the past 17 years establishing a successful practice defending the rights of the accused. A native of Mobile, Lisa attended Baker High School where the gymnasium is named in honor of her father, Daniel Bumpers.
She is a graduate of the University of Alabama, which she attended on an academic scholarship, & a graduate of Mississippi College School of Law where she completed her studies in two & half years.
Since returning to Mobile, Lisa has built a practice focused on criminal defense & criminal appeals & has defended hundreds of individuals accused of crimes in the City of Mobile & State of Alabama.
In addition to her private practice, Lisa serves as criminal defense attorney in the City of Mobile Municipal Court, as well as a Guardian ad Litem in Mobile County Probate Court for mental health commitment cases.
She serves on the Alabama Pattern Jury Instructions Committee -Criminal section, the Mobile Bar Association Grievance Committee, previously served as President of the Mobile Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, a founding member of the Dixey Bar Association, and a member of many organizations including the Paul W. Brock Inn of Courts, the Alabama Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, & the National Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.
